Olson's Terrible Swedes

The Terrible Swedes were founded in 1920 by the titular C. M. “Ole” Olson, who played on Nordic stereotypes by fielding what was for the time a team of “giants,” with the average player standing more than 6'5" tall. Based in Cassville, Missouri, the Swedes mostly played straight basketball, but Ole Olson, who was a player as well as manager, was known to break out behind-the-back passes and one-handed trick shots to add a little razzle-dazzle to the show.

Originally published in FreeDarko Presents: The Undisputed Guide to Pro Basketball History. Paper size: 13" x 10" Archival UltraChrome print on fine art paper. Open edition, signed by the artist. Please allow two to three weeks for delivery
